Does anyone "local" (south Louisiana) do inletting for McMillan stocks and can install a Badger Ordnance DBM M5 kit? I called McMillan and they can do the inletting, but only on their next run of A3 stocks and there was no timeframe when that could be.

I'm not, actually. Even once I do start taking in small jobs again I probably won't be inletting stocks. McMillans stocks have glazed coating on them that chips easily when cut into and it is too hard for me to control the feed on my manual machines. There are other shops with CNC machines set up to do it faster and cheaper than I can charge.

I don't know of anyone local who does them, but hit me up if you want a list of some good smiths who should be able to take care of it.
