Does anyone have a recommendation for a place in the Baton Rouge/Gonzales area that does a good job sewing on items on uniforms? I really don't feel like driving to Fort Polk just for this.

I have the Golden Needle on Coursey Blvd. sew on all my pertinent patches and alter my pants (both Class A's and Class B's). Been going there for over 10 years now and have never been unsatisfied.

I used them once to resize some shirts, no issues.

I don't have first hand experience with them, but I have heard Golden Needle spoken in a good light more than once.

Golden Needle is good, as is the Tailor Shop at the corner of Old Hammond and Sharp.

Tiny fingers. Tight stitches.

Just make sure you show them exactly what you want where.

Golden Needle did a great job and even fixed something I didn't even ask them to. Will definitely go there again.

Across from the US Post Office on hwy 44 in Gonzales- Nan's Alterations, might be Ann's, anyway I have used them on numerous occasions. I have always been satisfied.
