Mini 14 Tactical muzzel size

I am looking at getting a Mini 14 Tactical if I can find one, and want to know if they are threaded 1/2 x 28 like the AR's. Anybody know?

leave it to your lil buddy to tell ya! 9/16" x 24 RH is the thread size!!

Close grasshopper. They were that size until 2009. After that all are threaded 1/2" x 24, except the Republic of Kalafornia 556's which don't have removable flash suppressors.

1/2 x 28 is the current pattern.

Yep, you are correct, typo on my part. 1/2" x 28. Thanks JR1572.

For sure 1/2x28 thread. Just screwed on my Black River Tactical compensator and and it fits great. Plan on trying it in the morning, weather permitting.
