Let the old year go with a bang, come shoot and have a good time getting some last minute practice in before the New Year starts. Bring ~ 150 rounds of ammo and we will start shooting by 1800 hrs (6:00 pm), earlier if we have enough folks.

    Can somone provide an address?
DO you guys shoot every Monday barring anything like Xmas parties?

sounds like a good way to spend an evening.

Last question...you mentioned the possibility of starting early - how much earlier are we talking about?

Off Seigen Lane between I-10 and Airline.

Try to get there by 5:30 - 5:45. Shoot 'till 8 then many of us go out for casual food and conversation.

Fun courses and a good place to make mistakes and learn from them.

When we get enough folks there to start shooting, usually around 5:30 pm would be the earliest. We do have to get the range ready and folks have to gear up before we start. If you show up late, you just start where ever we are, it's not a big deal.

We have a really good bunch of folks who work together to keep things moving and that allows us to shoot a lot and still get away from there by 8:00 pm. If we run over that time it's no problem. We try to be laid back as long as everyone is safe and working to keep things moving.

There are folks there that can help a new shooter get better. We want new shooter and try to encourage them to make sure they come back. If you have a question all one needs to do is ask.

thanks for the quick replies. I started shooting at CAS and EAPS a few months ago so I have probably been squaded with a few of you before...just don't know the names.

Look forward to meeting everyone and shooting tomorrow.

    Joe W?

You shot the stage with a star and had a smokin run but had to reshoot it?

If so, I was running you. :o

the last name is W. but i would not describe any of my runs as 'smoking'...especially when a star is involved. You may have me mixed up with someone else. It does seem like i had to reshoot a star a few months ago at EAPS and did poorly on my 2nd run - my memory doesn't seem to serve me like it used to:confused:

at any rate, see you there

If your new and want to get in some extra time show up around 5: pm and when we get set up we can turn our attention to helping you get started. This way we won't be trying to take care of you and the shooter at the same time. That's if you you have the time available.
