Mossberg Maverick 88 Barrel question.

Just purchased the Maverick 88 12 ga with 28in field barrel. Will a 18.5 Security barrel fit on the field model?

It sure will. Maverick barrels are interchangeable except the 20 inch ones because the magazine tube is longer. So if your barrel fits a 5 round mag tube, the 18.5 inch barrel will fit also.

Yes it will. Plus it also takes most Mossberg 500 accessories, excluding the forearm.

Know of any aftermarket forearms that will fit on the 88? I put the standoff barrel on and ordered the ATI Talon Adjustable stock.
