Not supposed to have any thing metal around an MRI machine. Even if it doesn't fire the gun itself could injure some one being drawn into the machine.

I wonder if Colt will now add a disclaimer on the slide? "Warning Not MRI friendly" Gun may levitate, Aim North and Blow Holes in the Machine

In school we were warned of the power of that machine. There was an incident where a kid was in the tube waiting on the tech to start. When the machine kicked on it pulled a O2 tank into the tube and killing the kid. The O2 tank was supposed to be like 10 feet away and chained/secured. FYI.
