Barrel is too long, but other than that, it's a sweet gun.

Never saw the point in dumping money into a $80 surplus rifle to make it look modernized. Then again I never saw the point in spending $150 on a cheap .22 rifle so you can shoot cheap ammo and then spending $800 modding it. :dunno: Everyone has their hobbies I suppose.

It's only got about $160 put into it. I haven't shot it with the new stock/scope combo yet, but prior to it, the gun was very accurate with just iron sites, I can hardly wait to see the improvements afforded by the scope/bipod.

I agree on the 10/22 stuff though. This is fully capable of taking any game I ever plan to hunt though.

Bah of course the stocks are all on back order. I wonder how long they take.
Also is that a scout scope?
They waited until the very last day of the 4thweek to ship mine, and then when I got it the date stamped on the inside was from two months prior. I was frustrated to say the least.

Yes, its a scout scope. I very much like it, but haven't shot it yet, so I'm just basing that on sight picture.

I'm guessing these guys have a bunch of blanks made already and then they mill them out when they get around to your order. That date may have been from when the blank was made

Maybe, the fact that they waited until the very last day of my backorder period to initiate shipping really upset me though.

The trigger is a psuedo two stage trigger done by placing a spring on the pin that holds the trigger in.
I also polished the mating surfaces a little.

I also placed a very thin washer under the seer to lighten the pull a good bit.

Next time the gun is apart I'll get a picture to show what I did.
