Sounds just like the laws here.

Nazi Weapons Act of 1938 (Translated to English)

    Classified guns for "sporting purposes".
All citizens who wished to purchase firearms had to register with the Nazi officials and have a background check.
Presumed German citizens were hostile and thereby exempted Nazis from the gun control law.
Gave Nazis unrestricted power to decide what kinds of firearms could, or could not be owned by private persons.
The types of ammunition that were legal were subject to control by bureaucrats.
Juveniles under 18 years could not buy firearms and ammunition.

This is serious stuff guys. This is why we study history. The mistakes of the past, in this case tyrany, can & has to be avoided. Most Germans at the time did not take the Nazis seriously and looked what happened.

Now, here in the US, we are facing the near exact same situation- High unemployment, tremendous national debt and an arrogant leader trying to take over everything and run our lives.

Wake up and revolt! Vote the Bumbs out while you can; Every last "Dema-don't" and "Rebli-can't".

Yea!, you guys fly off the handle to quick without any justification or rationale!! What are you thinking by even questioning our KING’s (Obama) and his dignitaries’ ability to rule us!
What do you think is going to happen?
    1. Some "unprovoked" foreign country is going to fly over here and bomb a naval base or hijack some planes and crash them into some city building.
    or
2.A natural disaster is going to take place and government officials are going to go door to door and confiscate your beloved guns.
    Or
    3. Some foreign country will invade the northeast around Maine or even Alaska.
    Or
    4. You will be taken captive from you country, sold into slavery and your freedoms stripped.
I think getting a few narcissistic politicians out of office would send a big message reminding them (ie. Nancy P. – and her $100K flights) they work for us not the contrary.

not everyone deserve to be voted out. stop reactin off of emotion and use some sense!
That's right. Just the Dema-don'ts and Rebli-can'ts, but that's nearly all of them. I'm figuratively speaking of revolt, not the literal gun and bloodshed type revolt. Geez.

Thought they just confiscated the Jews firearms, not all German citizens? If you were a member of the party, you were exempt right?

What's wrong with that? The German people were right to go along with that to show that they were "reasonable people" and understood that owing and carrying a gun "is a privilege, not a right." There are plenty of people who don't know what they are doing and shouldn't own or carry a gun.
It's up to any goverment, US, state or Nazi to ensure that everyone is protected. Then the future is safe for all of us.
