NDS is tickin me off ...........

For the last year and a half or so, NDS receiver's rust like crazy. They changed their rust preventive to something that doesn't work.

I had to start blasting and coating them when they first come in or they would rust pretty bad. I have a few that I kept back for my own builds, well wouldn't you know I pulled them out of the climate controlled safe today and what do I see ?
RUST. On the outside around the center support and from behind the rails on the inside. It's creeping out from behind them. Pisses me off to no end. Because now when you build a gun for someone, it's going to rust. A lot

I don't think they put anything on them other than a light coat of oil prior to shipping. After I had on rust i started putting them in ziplock bags with oil.

Its like they attract rust better than a un oiled piece of metal in the same room.

Now. They used to be soaked in something, it stunk to heck and never rusted though

I've got two Nodak receivered AKs.

One rusts and one doesn't, but the rusty one is a couple of years old.

Does that mean you will not rust EVA?
