I've been wracking my brain these last few days reading reviews and specs!!! I'm looking for a okay scope for my Mosin m91/30. The El Cheapo scope I had didn't care much for the recoil. I'm looking to spend $200 ish. I'm fine with a used one. Mostly for plinking and occasional hunting. One person says get a redfield, one person says get a Simmons. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. I know I won't get a leupold or a swarovski.

    Looking at Bushnell Banner 6-18x50
maybe Pentax Gameseeker II Rifle Scope 4-16x50

If you buy something with good quality, you can always put it on a better rifle when the time comes.
If you buy cheap.....you know what you get!
You can buy a Leupold for just over 200.00 (Made in America by Americans)

or you can buy a redfield for less than the leupold but it is built by leupold and carries the same warrenty as a leupold. And i believe all of the redfields have clicks instead of the retarded friction adjustments some of the different lines of leupolds have.
