You are in a mountainous region that has a trail that meanders it's way thru the area. You are at your mine site.

Here's the clue: You say, "Anyone traveling the trail cannot see my mine site from the trail but I can see the trail from my mine".

Trying to figure out how that would be so.

One thought I have is that the mine might be blocked from view from the trail by a boulder or slight rise of the terrain, but me, standing at the mine, could see over the obstruction. Not sure, but just a thought.

    Anyone got any other ideas?

    Camoflaged entrance!! J/K

Wouldnt it be that the entrance is at a higher elevation and hard to see from the "ground", but looking out of it you could easily see the trail.

The trail leads to the mine. At the mine, you can see the end of the trail, but traveling the trail you can't see the mine until you get to the end of the trail, at which point you are no longer "traveling" the trail as you have reached your destination.
