i came across a colt series 80.. however, i believe it to be a m1991-a1. the serial number 28232**. i need to confirm this, i called colt and a young girl answered who seemed as though she was confused by what i was asking, maybe she was new and need to call back and get someone else.. the gun is at a local pawn shop and i'm worried that someone may have put (for example) a armscore frame together with a colt slide and a ton of wilson combat upgrades. seems kind of stupid since by the time you spend all of that you may be at the price of a excellent condition colt.. it also has the new roll mark, so it doesn't scream "M1991-A1" across the right side, nor does it say "Colt MkIV series 80"... according to a book i have of gun values, the m1991-a1 is more valuable than the mkIV series 80.. could it be a misprint? i'll post pics when i get home after work. it really is nice looking.
