Only have 2 wheel drive with no chains or ropes.

I can give you some numbers for towing services. Rudy Smith is in NOLA. Don't know if they'll come out, but I've dealt with them before and they are nice. (504) 522-8123

Also pulled up these 2 on Google.

    Aaron Campeaux Towing
    103 Villere Drive, Destrehan, LA
    (504) 487-1541 ‎

    Tonys Towing
306 Almedia Road, St. Rose, LA 70087-3488
    (504) 466-2255 ‎

    Hope this helps.

Clement's in Laplace is cheaper... 985-652-9329. Tony's charged me over $100 from elmwood to vets last time.

My xterra is 2wd also. If it were dry I'd probably risk it, but I wouldn't make it far tonight.

If I were anywhere near you I would help, but I'm in BR. Get a winch, a few pieces of rebar and some webbing and you can always make a ground stake to pull you're self out with

My buddy posted this for me from his phone right before it died. Well, the truck is still stuck and a member came and gave us a ride out.

The tow service didn't have access to a 4x4 and supposedly, no one in the circuit did either. We're going back tomorrow morning and dig it out.

It's not deep. You can see the tires below the wheels but we ended up in spot and just couldn't get any traction.

Get some weight in the bed and put some 2x4's under the rear tires to create traction. Turn traction control off, if equipped. Take it slowly and you should be able to get out depending on how deep you are. Once out, maintain a good speed to keep you from getting stuck again. What kind of truck are you in?
