Need some honest opinions

Love my M&Ps and Glocks, but I'm feeling the urge to splurge, so with that being said - Sig p226 vs HK P30... Go!
Keep in mind, this gun would be primarily used for range/home defense. Thanks!

From what I have seen and heard the HK P30 would be the most recommended by a Very Large Margin.
I have owned Sigs and HK's but I have not owned a P30.

For SD, stick with a platform and train on it.

I had a P30. We were like oil and water.

I got rid of it.

Great gun. Just not for me.

I have never owned a Sig.

Never shot a SIG but I own a P30 . It's sweet , but pricey . For your use , the SIG might be a better choice . It'll leave you a few dollars with which to buy ammo .

I'm a Glock guy, had a SIG P226 hated the trigger reset sucked for me,sold it right away.However I got to shoot a HK USP compact in 9mm and really like it and the DA/SA trigger had a much better and shorter reset. I would give HK hard look as I am.

I prefer the P30. I'd also look at a 228 before deciding on the 226. If they were all the same price I'd probably have HK's.

Shot my buddies p30 a few times it is a really nice pistol. Kinda feel the same on having a bunch of different guns for home defense though range guns is different story though.
