    when I google the 39-17-1359 all the hits mention Tennessee law...pretty sure we don't have a "no gun" sign mentioned in our laws...weird

    our state restricts your CCW permit from jails, schools, etc - in some states any place with a "No Guns" sign displayed is also a restricted environment. so yes, they can be charged even if they possess a permit.

    fwiw - no, our state does not.
