Interesting. Ill have to check the dimensions. I wonder how much bigger it is than my lCP2. (Looks bigger but pictures are hard to gauge sometimes)

It has grown, the barrel is 3.675" which is roughly .5" longer than before. Barrel is longer than the M&P9C which is 3.5"

Ah ok...I assumed since it was 380 they were trying their hand at a smaller weapon. Apparently that is not the case.

The OAL is .28" more than a G26 and is 3.19 0z. less than a G26. Holds 2 rounds less than a G26 and is not as wide.
I know the new Shield is .380 and the G26 is 9mm, just a size comparison.

    You talking about me?:)

I think you can handle a full size gun just fine lol

This is a gun for those fudds that know hammer fired is better, want a safety, but also complain that "racking" a gun is too difficult.

.380 ACP has less felt recoil and requires a lighter RSA, which results in a more shootable firearm that is easier to manipulate.

Let me get this straight: This is a roughly full-sized single stack .380??? I’ll bet they sell more than any of us would guess. Kinda reminds me of the old *Lady Smith* series of revolvers from a few years back.

I’d take a 65-5 3 Inch round butt .357 k frame with Ladysmith markings on it.

So I shoot a lot and am thought of by my buds as being a safe and patient teacher when it comes to shooting. Because of that I've been asked to work with a few wives who want to get into concealed carry. I let them shoot a variety of my and my wife's guns.

In general they don't mind full size 9's, but they are to big for carry. The universal sweet spot has been the Glock 42. No just because it's small, but because of recoil. The small 9's are snappy and intimidating. A .380 that's a little bigger should shoot even softer and as these ladies will likely purse carry the size shouldn't hurt. It won't be among the hard core gun guys, but I think there is a market for this.

My daughter has said she would like a handgun for protection. This is definitely a candidate for her. Easy slide racking is #1. I don't get the grip safety AND manual safety, but from my experience with XD grip safety, it's never been a problem for me. I'm not "arthritic" though. EZ may be just the ticket for someone not into it as a hobby like many of us. This will be on the list for sure.
