If you get black it's Bulgarian, plum it's Russian.

Bulgaria made plum too. Edit: per AK_shooter all Bulgarian plum furniture is Russian made.

I will be honest, I dont even know what a galil looks like. I acutally thought the front guard was the intrafuse with the rails, when I traded the farm for them I couldnt tell what they were because they were NIP. And I didnt ask, I just saw intrafuse and thought that was what I wanted. I do like them better than the wood, less wobble.

Intrafuse is a whole line of stuff. They do make the hidden rail model in dark earth.

If you keep the open top Galil hand guard there is a gas tube available without the top guard brackets. It was made for the German Weiger. I think it looks better with the Galil hand guard.

Might as well get some cheap night sights if you get that tube.

I think I might put the wood back on and keep the grip.

Now that would look gay. Unless you get the black SAW grip which would look decent. Consider spending the money on a new Ironwood laminate grip (scroll down on this link). Then you can bleach out the original wood and finish it all to match. They have one with a flat top and one with that uses and comes with a metal top cap.

Personally, I think it looks good with the new furniture. I'd live with it awhile before deciding to change it. Definitely get a brake for it. I'd get the AR style with the modern furniture. For classic wood the slant or 74 style brake looks best I think.

Here's one of my prized pieces.
Egyptian MAADI ARM, Egyptian marked receiver, chrome lined barrel, Crutch side-folding stock, Egyptian stock set, and an east german Bayonet(closet variant to an Egyptian, they are brown instead of black).

US COMPLIANCE parts are, K-var trigger set, muzzle break, piston, and magazine end plate. 6 us counted parts.

If you're replacing hand guards and gas tubes... just go ahead and get an Ultimak rail as a gas tube replacement :) <3 my Ultimak
