Love the blade, the Sageo didn't come tied so I had to tie it myself but besides that the sword is beautiful.

Looking good! When you say it was not tied, what do you mean?

The cord or sageo was just wrapped around scabbard. I had to tie that bow tie look

The 2nd to last picture shows the 3 cords per side on sageo. Takes a while to learn it but not to hard

I like a decent katana. The shinwa swords are nice for the money. True high carbon forged steel and you know the difference as soon as you pick it up. I bought a cold steel years ago in the $400 range and I like the Shinwa Damascus I got on sale for $200 better.
