New Concealed Hangun Permit changes:

Act 944 of the Regular Session of the 2010 Legislature has created a permit that is valid for five years. Effective August 15, 2010, the Louisiana State Police Concealed Handgun Permit Section will no longer issue two and four year permits. Two and four year permit applications that are not received by close of business August 14, 2010 will not be processed and will be returned.
