Houma Auto Parts just called me. They have one for around $500. I was first on their list, but I didn't expect them to be quite that expensive, so unless I can dig out a little more change from under the couch, it's up for grabs.

I was thinking they would be $550-$600.

Shot 44 rounds through one last night. It will take some getting used to as my big bear paw was throwing all my shots way left. Quite different feeling from the normal Glock feel that I'm used to. I was not a fan of the pinky grip extension on the extra mag. If you have smaller hands than me, it may be perfect but it struck my pinky right in the middle and was not comfortable... so it was useless to me.

All in all, gonna be a nice little gun. Should have mine in next week. I'm #5 on the list at my buyer and They got 4 the first week. Luckily, a friend was #4 and let me shoot his.

In stock at Academy Gretna this morning. $499. Said arrived yesterday afternoon. Not a comfortable hold by my measure.
But serves its purpose I'm sure.

i went there a few days ago but i didnt leave empty handed. ill have to wait a little longer for a 43 now.:mamoru:

I expect Houma Auto parts to be on par with Academy's price with the 43. I went ahead and gave them my business last week to support a local business. Glad to see they didnt mark it up.

Yeah, sometimes their prices can be a little high, but I'd much rather support a local business than a big-box chain store if they've got what I need, even if it does cost a few bucks more.

Got mine today!!! Hopefully shooting it Sunday. One mag comes with the pinky extension; definitely needs that.

I got mine Tuesday. First thing I did, well, after shooting it some, was find someone else locally who wanted my extended mag. I traded for their flush mag.

Here you go! That trigger on yours was noticeably better than the other couple G43's I've handled. When I get mine, I will be bringing it to you!

We got the 43 in at acadiana gunworks a couple days ago. I gotta say though I dont like it to much. I find the grip to narrow. Its kinda like holding a 1"x1/2" board. The angles seem to cut in your hand.
Now youre asking why I put our name in here. Well its to let yall know you can come check em out. Id like to hear other opinions on it

I held the 43 the other day compared to a 42, there was only about 1/4" diff in length, I ended up with the 42 (for my wife) but I am very interested in a glock 44? A single stack .40, that would be sweet!!!!! I usually carry a 23 or 27, somtimes a 30s, I'm just not a 9mm fan, anybody heard of a single stack .40??? I hope so!!!!!either way the 42 and 43 are some great additions to glock which have always been some awesome guns!!!!

I figured with the rain we would have the range to ourselves, so I got to go shoot the new 43. Just like shooting my friends 42, this gun is easy to shoot for its size. I'm glad I picked this one up. It's a fun gun to shoot. Now I'm hoping they come out with an extended mag soon; and maybe a threaded barrel just because.....

Taran Tactical does have +1 and +2 baseplates out if that helps.
