Hello everyone.
I stumbled across this forum randomly, glad I did so.
Its great to see an active firearm/shooting sports forum that looks like it is centered in my general area!!!
I look forward to talking to yall here on this forum, and possibly even meeting a few of you.
I am an avid hunter/fisherman/shooter. Hell, the outdoors and shooting are in my blood.
My dad started teaching me basics firearm safety dam near the day I was born.
I killed my first deer (spike) at age 6 w/ a Universal M1-carbine 30cal. Dropped that spike at 80yrd, thanks to my dad's teaching.
At age 8, I was sitting on a deer stand by my self w/ a Mini-14.
Some people called him crazy, but at that age I already understood what a firearm could do...and I understood firearm safety. And I killed an 8pt w/ that same Mini-14 at age 8. By my self in a stand...220lbs 8pts, Aimwell, La.
So, I have been a hunting/firearm nut from day one.
I hope I can find a few Louisiana hunting/fishing/shooting people just like me on this forum.
