New hours at Honey Island

These guys always used to be open til 6pm in summer and 4pm in the winter.

Anyone know why they close so early in the day now?

It's hard to get down there now, knowing they close so soon.

9am thru 2pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I would think staffing issues would be the biggest factor. I agree with you, those few hours (open), make it hard to go. They certainly should go for at least 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

A range officer informed me the hours were based on the number of users.

It's been years sense I have been there. Do you still have to park and walk? No longer have my wagon to haul everything.
