I haven't used any personally but have read some reviews that are favorable. I think the overinsertion stop is stupid, but everything else seems to be improved. They strengthened the polymer to fix the feed lip spreading/cracking issue.

JWG223, the resident PMag nerd and smashing things scientist should be able to elaborate further.

they work as well as the M2 version. I can't see anyone having bought one long enough ago to have any reviews on spline strength.

The dot matrix is nice for labeling them

They don't cost that much more, so I can justify spending the extra $2. I'm always iffy about buying new stuff.

Where are you able to find them?

If you have an open source to them, I would say the extra $2 is worth it if just buying a few. But with M2 mags going for $100+, I wouldn't figure it would matter that much.

If you don't shoot thousands of rounds a month, I wouldn't expect you to see any difference honestly.

I was going to backorder some from Midway usa. They dont come with dust covers and I don't like that because I keep my mags loaded. I like that the M3's are made of tougher ploymer and the feed lips are less likely to separate or crack.

the m3 should come with and the MOE without.

but as discussed in your last thread, Magpul (the company that actually produces the mags) has reported many times that the dust covers are optional even when stored loaded
