Just in today from the superb gents at machetespecialists.com, is this sixteen inch pata de cuche machete.

Words cannot express the euphoria; it feels like being reunited with a long-lost child. Now my vintage CORONETA by the same Imacasa has a replacement so the family heirloom is not further damaged.

Anybody know how to post pics from an iPhone? The image doodad on this site never seems to work.

Yes, that would be it! Thanks, Segrest!

It is a little heavy, and much larger than thought, but daddy's got a brand new baby! It cuts thicker woody vegetation quite well, much better than the ten inch. It seems the extra mass is perfect for the thicker stuff. Will post a review later on, in about a month, and let you know how it worked.
