Have you shot the KAK? From what I gather, they're dimensionally very similar, but don't have the baffle that the kx5/3 does. However, they are made of aluminum as opposed to steel, which I'm sure helps with the weight out on the end. Opinions?

As a huge KX3 fan please let us know how the kak compares...I have been planning a 'lightweight' build...and it would be in my plans if it is all decent.

If your goal was to build a lightweight rifle why would you use a heavy muzzle device?

I like the effect and look of the KX3...but your right not on a lightweight (I was planning on a Troy comp)...hence the desire to know how well the lighter, smaller KAK works. So yes...we agree.

@VG yes I wanted the 9in rail and wanted the muzzle device to extend past it. The rail is the MI gen2 t series pretty light IMO. I'm going to play around with the setup. Eventually I plan on applying for my tax stamp to make it a sbr. Thank you for the advise. I will take and use all I can get
