I am a new old member I started a few years ago and lapsed into forgetfulness and have not posted in a long time. My location is south central Alaska in a small town of 600 sq. miles and about 1500 to 1800 people. I am 70 yrs. young used the hunt, trap, and fish all year long now I fish winter and summer when I get someone to go with me more enjoyable with a friend.

I was stationed in Alaska for a couple years and loved it.
I'd trade Louisiana heat and humidity for Alaskan winters 7or8 times out of 10 - some of ya'lls winter do get a bit extreme for me however. Lol
