In our "neighborhood" there is a "range" on BLM. We police it ourselves, keep it clean, everyone shoots there, some people leave trash, and some others like me pack it out. This range is 5 minutes from the house, free, open to use by anyone. If it "closes" I have to purchase a membership to another range, the closest of which is a half hour away and limited to 100 yds ( I can shoot that at my house). The next closest range where I can shoot 300+ is 50 miles away and hundreds of dollars a year. Needless to say I'll be protesting this however I can.

After a little closer reading and Digging on the NRA's website I'm not directly effected. However, the point remains, and I'll be voicing my opinon in favor of the shooters on the other side of the mountain.

On a side note, I wasn't able to find anything useful on the BLM site, it's like they made it impossible to find anything quickly on purpose.
