I will never see the purpose of a .45 Auto in anything smaller than a full frame. Even then, I don't see the point with modern calibers.

Meh. It still could be fun! Actually I have been saying I was going to buy a Shield 9 for like three years and I keep getting cold feet. I really need a new CCW though!

Looks like I'll have to get a mold gun ordered for this .45 model for holster building. Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but they(S&W) will likely sell the snot out of these. Now they can compete with the XDs 3.3 in .45
