New to hunting from Baton Rouge

Hi everyone I'm new to this forum and hunting as well. So far I only own the Smith and wesson body guard .38 and a 12 gauge Remingon wingmaster. Im currently interested in doing some feral hog hunting and I don't have a clue as to where in the state I could start, any help would be appreciated.

If you know anybody located in the sticks with a good bit of land you can ask if they mind/want any hogs taken care of. My roommate back when I was at LSU worked some of a guy's property (forestry) up in St. Francisville where we went one time.
