Feels like home!
This is the band my son's Kyle & Eric (16 Year Old Twins) play in. They are very good! Both my boy's excel in music, in addition to Streetcar Samba they are members of the Rummel High School Marching Band, Jazz Band, Church Band, RIPE (Rummel Indoor Percussion Ensemble). Kyle is an amazing Drum Player (Rummel Drum Line Member) and Eric is unbelievable on Bass Guitar (District 6 Jazz Band 2010) and can play any type of guitar, keyboard or brass instrument.

Streetcar Samba is based out of Harahan Louisiana, which is on the out skirts of New Orleans Louisiana. We got together originally as a 90′s cover band in July 2010. We then started to move towards originality because we were tired of adjusting to other people’s music. A couple of the original members broke away from the group because they did not like the new approach. We then gained new members who are now, Jennie Lacour, Michael Roy, Kyle Bourque, Ian Cortez and Eric Bourque. We work well as a group and we are more like a group of friends than a band. We really enjoy what we do and love to entertain our fans.
Michael composes the majority of the music with the rest of the band giving input. Even though he writes the songs, the band truly gives them their flavor. At first we did not really know what to call ourselves as far as a genre goes, but we feel comfortable with Blues/Rock.
Eric Bourque: Bass Guitar
Ian Cortez: Keyboard/Effects, Vocals
Jennie Lacour: Lead Vocals
Kyle Bourque: Drums
Michael Roy: Guitar, Vocals
