G26 Brand New; Got it for my CC on shorts and t-shirt kind of days.:D

S&W 357 Mag. Old but new to me. Inherited the 357 from my wife's grandpa when he passed away. Such a gorgeous gun (I think at least) that I wanted to share it with you guys.

The Smith needs its own thread. Screw the Block. Open the crane and tell us the numbers stamped on the frame. There is also a number stamped on the bottom of the grip frame.
If that is a 3" M-27, you have something way more special than the Block.
Oh,yea. Keep EVERYTHING together. The tools and box are worth a good penny.

I was joking, dude. That revolver is worth a lot more than $500; especially if it is un-fired.

I knew you were joking, lol I was being sarcastic. Guess it's hard to read subtle sarcasm. I will look at those numbers and see what I have. I don't think it has been shot before, at least it doesn't appear to have been shot. I have been tempted to :mamoru: but told myself that I never will.

So for us S&W laymen, what exactly makes that one so special?

Try buying one like that today. The 3" Mdl 27 is RARE. Most were 4", 6". Some were made in 5" also. That revolver works smoother than a Swiss watch, slicker than owl **** on a hot tin, room, smooth as a babys' ass, slicker than a porn stars' privates. They don't make them like that anymore. Taurus and Rossi has never made anything that approaches that gun. It is the epitomy of Revolverism. As somebody said, If you don't plan on selling it, shoot the whale snot out of it. You'll never want anyhting else.

According to the original owners manual found behind the blue padding in the original case. .357 Magnum Model number 27, 6 shot, 3 1/2" barrel.

If it has been shot I can't tell to be honest.
