I have 4 Finn Mosin Nagants, M24, M27, M28, M39. Next range session I'm going to see which one is the most accurate, although they all ARE!

What ammo are you shooting out of which?

FYI I have dies for all of them now. I am reloading for my SAKO M28/30 to see if I can get the .308 cal bullets shooting really well out of it. IT slugged to .3085"

Also the cases are shorter for that as well (known as 7.62x53r)...of course I'm likely preaching to the choir.

Your M39 will likely the most accurate with standard 7.62x54r Ball ammo. I've been looking for one for quite some time now. Really liking your collection!

Good luck, have fun, be safe!

Well, as soon as I decided to do this the weather turned horrible. Its been raining and or too windy for four straight days.I mean here's the very first 5 shots I did with two of them.

For accuracy, my handloads. The only accurate milsurp stuff I have is Czech green lacquered light ball Silvertip, and shooting them gives me sticky bolt if I shoot a lot of it. Takes too long to clean that lacquer out of my chamber.

Good for a mag full, though.

Speaking of my handloads, here's a target from some special very light recoil cast gas checked 150 grain bullets I used with 13 grains of Red Dot. It's almost like shooting a .22 after my full power jacketed reloads. They shot a bit low, but they were fun.

Try polishing the chamber there may be some cosmoline left, take a 20ga bore brush, cover it in patches with some polish, toss it in a drill and run it in the chamber for several seconds all of the mosins I have had, I did this makes a huge difference!
