It was going smooth till I hit a page with one of those dang Trojans that pop up a Virus warning then proceed to "scan" your machine when it is really rewriting all sorts of crud. Luckily I recognized it right away and Alt-F4'ed it's butt and killed it before it could do any real damage. Going through major deep scans now to be sure I did get it all...

Ah yes, the typical late night Internet pursuit-- browsing porn and swatting down the subsequent viruses.
    :p

In all seriousness, what were you browsing?

Nope! Would you believe on a webtoon page? Seeing as I have lots of free time and insomnia, I read a ton of those each day! One of their advertisers had it in their ad I am 100% sure and the antivirus doesn't catch it till it has already done the deed. I revisited the page a second time without incident. I can't even tell you what was the ad that triggered it because of the way it hides the trail!

At work for about 4 more hours. Watching the replay of the Saints game on my phone. The NFL app has a live stream of the NFL Network, and it's all free!

Just got back home from Kenner. Big drug bust or something on I-55 Northbound between Ruddock and Manchac. Everyone was rerouted to the low road until we reached manchac. Going over the manchac bridge you could see about 30 trucks ( 18 wheelers ) in line waiting to be checked. They were checking all the cargo. All of the LEO's were state troopers.
