Months ago someone on this web site mentioned what a poor choice this man would be for head of the ATF. I believe the NRA has also been against him, but this is neither here nor there. Anyway I did my part and emailed both of the Louisiana Senators asking them to block this nomination. Nothing from Vitter. Mary Landrieu finally had one of here minions get back to me and this one could actually put some words together that had more than 3 letters.
From what I could read between Mary's lines are that he is an Obama appointee and no matter what he believes or does he is ok with her.
So as shooters, hunters and firearms enthusist we should watch this one closely and see how she votes. I'm pretty sure Vitter will oppose but Landrieu is a Democrat lacky thru and thru and will vote that way regardless of what is best for Louisiana or the country.
Not slaming Democrats but they seem to be on the anti US side of most issues.
