norinco model 213

can any one help i am trying to refinish a norinco model 213 and cant find out how to take the plastic gripps off and its starting to really get me agrivated so any help would be great

On my tokarev it has a bar that attaches to the inside of the frame and rotates on the grip. You need to get a screw driver and push the end of the bar vertical so it no longer contacts the inside of the frame. Hope that makes sense. There are some disassembly videos on youtube.

thanks alot but the one i am working on is a chinese model and can u tell me what type of finishes they came in it belongs to a budy of mine and he has had it a long time and it has never had a finish on it i am starting to think it may be stainless or nickle plated it has no rust on it but it kinda looks a little dull & tarnished
