Not sure if this info is available elsewhere but Tallow Creek yay or nay?

I'm planning on taking my pistol out to shoot, I'm currently in mandeville and tallow creek is the closet range to me. Ive read a few things online that said that this range is nasty, poorly kept and sucks. Ive also read some reviews that say its great, staff is friendly etc but the majority of these reviews are years old. So curious if anyone knows anything about this joint, if they go regularly or if theyve been recently and if they would recommend it. Also are FMJ's allowed for the pistols because i read somehwere they had a no FMJ rule? thanks yall

I think they might actually be closed, but regardless that place is the biggest ******** around. Avoid it at all costs.

It's well worth the extra drive to head over to Honey Island Range in the Pearl River WMA.

Yeah I posted a little while back they were closing it to make a bunch of houses on the property, but I read last night that they got denied the permits due to people worrying about all the led poison from the bullets. So I do not know if they are gonna reopen or not.... Either way I would not recommend going there.


Also if you are in uptown nola, I believe going to honey island would be close to the same distance as tallow.
