The U.S. Department of Energy denied V-Vehicle Co.'s applications for more than $320 million in federal loans Wednesday, putting the new car company's project and the 1,400 Ouachita Parish jobs it planned to create in jeopardy.

The day after Obamacare was signed into law. Coincidence? Add to the fact that this was a total blindside for the investors and state - they had been working with DOE and things were looking good.

Company, state and local officials said they were blindsided by the rejection, which came more than a year after V-Vehicle applied for the Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing loans.

"We were extremely surprised and disappointed by this decision," said Frank Varasano, founder and chief executive officer of V-Vehicle, in a press release. "Our yearlong discussions with the Department of Energy had left us confident and optimistic that the loan applications would be approved."

The main investor is anti-obama and Jindal had heavily worked for this deal.

Ebony, the spokesman for the Dept, said the project didn't meet expected profitability....another way of saying Louisiana didn't support Obama
