Anyone else getting odd conversation responses to their older posts? The post say that so and so has what you are looking for and to email them. All of the request are from out of state users who just joined.

I am smelling Ruskies as I have seen similar recently on other forums that I am a memember of.

It's a scam. I had guys from out of state wanting to sell me guns that I wanted from years ago. When I told them that I had law enforcement family in that area to check out the gun for me, the messages stopped.

Same here, got a reply this morning to an old WTB thread, wanted me to contact a friend by email. Reported to admin and the new member has been banned. They'll probably be back though.

always report, especially if someone messages saying someone they know has something for sale and gives an email address.

This is the exact reason I always go back and delete any info in wtb or wts adds. Scammers are just to abundant these days and literally everywhere.

I’m sure my phone will ring soon with my 7,587 last call car warranty that’s about to expire lol. Anyone else get that one?
