Pursuit that originated in Monroe (Ouachita Parish) ended in Choudrant (Lincoln Parish) with OPSO firing upon and killing the suspect.

Great job OPSO, dumb move on the suspect's part.

Before anyone has a chance to say "the pursuit resulted in suspect being shot?" I want to point out that all of the details can't be released for an open investigation but keep this quote from T h e N e w s S t a r in mind: "Because of Hemphill’s actions, police shot and killed Hemphill."
