10 pt 180# buck killed by my buddys girlfriend in fron of the hounds near Chicot Pass last year.

First rabbit killed in front of my beagles.

I shot this 8-point, 12/5/09, at my lease in E. Feliciana Parish. We drove across the basin from Lafayette in the blizzard Friday night to be at the camp to hunt deer in the snow Saturday morning!

Damn, I am jealous! I'm glad to hear somebody on here got to do that- me & CZ were talking about that just last week! A blood trail in the snow- in LA- would be awesome!

I know! cool huh? This may be as close as it gets for a south Louisiana boy! I didn't get to (have to) track this guy at all. I guess I had a touch of buck fever when the four (yes, four) bucks came out together, and my shot was a bit high; spining him and dropping him in his tracks.

Keep them comming guys. It has been cold and wet in NW LA this weeekend. Surely somebody killed something this weekend. We are going in the morning (Sun). There have been some nice ones taken this year.
