    Arizona man who sold ammo to Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock is charged

    {by Associated Press}

    I am sure he is being charged with Manufacturing without a licence.
    I did not look but it is the same one that you need to export. Not cheap.
    But still, less than he will pay.
    Ever see the guys with bags of ammo at gun shows?

    Note he did so without, the proper FFL, there may be city/county/state ordinances and or license/permits one must acquire and maintain. Furthermore, manufacturers must register with the DOD and pay the yearly ITAR fee, as well as the aforementioned 10% excise tax.
    The fact that he used tracer bullets is whatb the news is on. That's the least of his worries.

    Not 'zactly the same but I had a friend who is a cabinet maker build me a bench when I started reloading. Nothing big but just to fit in the space I had for it. Said he used scrap lumber at the shop and it was no big deal. So I figured I'd "pay" him with reloads of his choice for making the bench.

    I mentioned this in a reloading forum and the moderator told me that wasn't a good idea. He said that ya never know who's reading, and selling ammo plus not collecting tax while doing ALL without a license might one day become problematic. Wow! He said I should probably delete those posts to be safe. I deleted the posts....

    I feel your pain. Government and regulations are real good at turning good folks into criminals

    When I was 16, I would drive to Kenner Indoor, on Airline.
    The guy had an Old Progressive Press. He would load while looking at the TV. Start and Stop when customers needed him.
    Once every few months someone would get a squib. And once a year he would need to fix a gun from one. Remmy was a crazy old coot.
    Shoot 22lr from my MK1 Ruger that I got from K-Mart on sale. And "My Reloads" in my S&W 19
    The old man ran a loose shop. He would just ask are ya 18? And I would say yes.
    A few times older guys would say is the 18? And he would say yes he comes here on the weekend with his dad! And middle of the week by himself he is a regular. Even reloads.
