since Daycare's are state licensed is OC at a daycare not allowed?

I ask because as I am picking my boys up yesterday, the owner was talking to a worker about a guy asking if he could open carry his pistol while picking up his kids. I am under the impression that legal or not if the owner says no he has to leave it in the car. Am I right?

I'm pretty sure you are; I think if it's private property the property owner can ask that it be left elsewhere.

Private Property , ALL businesses are State or Parish Licensed to operate, it creates Revenue this way.

Just be respectfull of the wish of the owner and if asked to leave or not do it just comply, keep in mind parents will probably freak out when they see you specially females because of the "safety" of the kids, but if they allow you I dont see why not.
