    Obama said:
"The executive branch also needs to change. Too often, it’s inefficient, outdated and remote. That’s why I’ve asked this Congress to grant me the authority to consolidate the federal bureaucracy so that our Government is leaner, quicker, and more responsive to the needs of the American people."

Hmmmm. No, thanks Adolph. Next I suppose the house and senate will burn to the ground. Who will be the next people that he will feel needs to be obliterated from the face of the earth? Oh, I forgot he is a muslim wanna be so I guess its the Jews again.

The rest of the speech was, I'm a hero, I'm a hero blah, blah, blah, blah. I will sign this and sign that etc., etc.

What happened to all his promises in 2008? Hope & Change = socialism. It's only been three years now and still no budget. Yes sir, you can believe if you want to but as for me, I'll pass on this vacationing power hungry socialist that is out to do away with our constitution and lock us deeper into modern forms of slavery. Our freedom is lost and I want it back. Maybe he should just shut up and do his job instead of all the trash talking. In the mean time IMPEACH THE BUM!

I especially liked his retoric about GM. You know they just had a recall due to brake shoes not being installed in some of their new cars and what is this noise I hear about the electric car of theirs being prone to catching fire?

My thought on the entire speech: YAWN, same ole, same ole.

    What say you?

Some things he said were good, most not, it was all typical BS.

What really gets me pissed is that the Republicans and Democrats can't support the good things this country needs just because the other side said it. None of them give a crap about this country. It's all about winning the next term.

I am in no way an Obama supporter. WIth that being said I am not impressed with the State of the Union address because it sounded more like a campaign speech than a State address.

It's difficult for me to watch or listen to him, I know he's the president but I just can't stand him or anything he does. He and his family do nothing but waste tax payer dollars and destroy the constitution. I tried to watch the state of the union address and I could not do it because it sounded just like a campaign speech....

I actually liked his idea about people having to stay in school till they are 18 or graduate. That should help us here in Angola Prep...errr I mean EBR school district. There was only a few parts where I screamed heresy, such as the one listed in the OP. He had a lot of good ideas, however ideas that will never actually take place and if they do will be a gross deformity at best.
