The Navy is looking to hire an Oracle DBA in their New Orleans SPAWAR facility. This is a government position, and it will require a security background check to grant SECRET clearance. You don't have to have a spotless background, but you do have to be honest in your security application. They will very probably catch lies, and that will kill your application.

One nice thing about these jobs: My wife holds a federal government job and has for 11 years. If you stay in the federal career long enough you qualify for medical insurance in your retirement. This is an amazing perc, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
