I have an account set up. Premium member so I can receive payment. So, how do I do this? What info do I have to give the buyer so I can receive payment? Any help is appreciated.

Just give them your Paypal email address and you can receive paymemts. Tell them to send as a "gift" option so you don't incur any fees. You can also send money the same way. Hope that helps.

How does PayPal recognize that I received an email? Or is there a link I need to attach? Confused

Ok, someone wants to send you a payment so you in turn send them the email address that is your confirmed Paypal email address. Then they send the payment to the email address that you sent them. You will then receive a confirmation email from Paypal saying that they made the payment. You don't need to attach any links or anything like that, just give the buyer your Paypal verified email address and they can send the payment.

The email is entered within the paypal website after logging in which is how it is recognized.

So, I go to paypal, request payment, enter amount, and send to buyer's e-mail. He then replies to e-mail and payment is complete? Sound right? Basically send the e-mail through PayPal

    No, there is no reply.

    You go to paypal
    Click "send" or "request"
    enter the other person's email
enter info (item name, amount, etc)

They get an email notifying that either you sent them money or you requested them to send you money.

They log into paypal to send the money or see the money in their account.

Right, except no actual transactions take place via email. They are all done on paypals site within their system. Emails are simply notifications of payment receipt or request.

But I do, however, need the e-mail address of each buyer to send the payment request, correct? Or is there a link to my info that I can post in the classified thread? Sorry if I'm complicating this more than it needs to be.

When you log in to paypal and "request" money, paypal will send the buyer the email with the necessary link for them to click on to process the request for you to receive the payment in to your paypal account.

Just don't let them know its for anything related to guns or knives or they will shut down your account and confiscate any money you have in there, plenty of bad stories out there.
