Never made sense to me why it's considered Class 3. I guess as much sense as making a rifle under a certain length Class 3. Don't even understand why you have to jump through special hoops for an automatic weapon. It's so easy to illegally do these things anyone who wants to break the law by using the weapon in a crime is going to criminally modify their weapon to suit their needs.

Suppressors will remain a controlled item until movies stop misrepresenting them as the nefarious tools of assassins that completely hide the sound of gunfire.
