Phone Scam

So this foreign phone scam "company" claiming to be the New York state police and the FDIC has been calling and harassing my coworkers saying that they have a warrant for arrest and if money is paid the charges will be dropped. They give false badge numbers, names, etc. Anyway, the police have been notified but if anyone is interested in giving them a piece of their mind, the number is:

I have also heard about this before, they are from Pakistan. It was on dateline NBC..

had the same thing happen to me from the same 904 area code! I also called the police. You can hear several people calling in the background. Wish I had an address!!!

From what I'm reading it's obviously scammish, but they apparently have a name and a work number so there is some reality in it being an over due loan or something.

Some people in Ouachita Parish have received these calls claiming to be OPSO. Luckily no one has fallen for it...yet.
