Picked up a box of "new" primers today

Alcan anyone? I've only heard of these, and never handled any until now. Finding load data should prove to be an adventure . I may have to raid my pop's archives.

It should be just a regular small pistol primer. Go with the powder recomendation that you are using. Looks good to go.

I bought a lot of these around 25 years ago and they were dirt cheap. I still have some and they have never misfired.

Hmmm... These primers were manufactured in the mid to late sixty's. I'm not calling you a liar, but It sounds like some of your drawers may be hand-me-downs.

They are a little tight, but otherwise seviceable.
