Im considering a pistol grip shotgun. What are my options other than the 870 and the mossberg?

Id like a 7shot if there is such a beast.

yea what they're saying is right. Its very painful to shoot. I even have a Knoxx SpecOps Stock on mine and it still has a good bit of recoil on mine. I remember shooting my Mossberg with the pistol grip that it came with and it wasn't a blast. I mean it looks cool and mean but not friendly.

they were from the same site, the top one is a 20 inch and the bottom has 18 inch barrel

Yep, but in the pictures they are both 18" with a +2. Look at the extension length, and then reference it to the receiver :D

The 20" with +3's are impossible to miss - it's like having a duck gun behind the door. The barrels are LONG for HD use. Even 18" is too long for serious HD use, atleast IMO.

Pistol gripped 10" TROMIX SBS (Saiga-12).........Mags come in 5, 8, 10, and 12-round stick mags, and 20-round drums are available...............
Doesn't kick nearly as bad as a pump, being that its gas operated........

..........or you can go with the 18" version, also a TROMIX gun.
    Mags shown are 5, 8, and 10-rounders..............

......20-round drums on both of them.............

I'd recommend against a pg only, especially if you plan on doing more than plinking. At household room distances shot pattern is still small enough that you still need to aim the gun.

Don't waste your money on a pistol grip only shotgun. UNLESS it's really cheap. Cheap enough to buy and put a regular stock on it for less than a shotgun with a regular stock. I owned one before.

on mossbergs with pistol grips the safety cant me manipulated while maintaining a firing grip thanks to the silly location of it on top of the receiver
