Pistol light

Looking for a light to mount to the lower rail of a G-19 or G-26. I know in some recent home invasion threads you guys have talked about a cheap rail mount set up. I need info on that. What do you suggest for not alot of $$$$$ that can be gotten kinda local without ordering?

Streamlight TLR1, I have 3 of the older ones. Or I would suggest a Streamlight SuperTac or something similar that is not weapon mounted. No reason to point your weapon at something you havent identified right?

If you point your weapon at something, you dont have to shoot it if its not a good target. Just saying. I run a surefire, but they arent cheap.

That local part threw me off, but if ordering was an option it's hard to beat the streamlight tlr-3. But for a few more dollars get the tlr-1 and have one hell of a light.

Believe it or not, Glock makes a pretty decent weapon light for not that much money. I use one on my 22. Works great.

If you plan on putting in a holster ever with the light attached stick to streamlight tlr 1 or 2, insight m3 or some of the surefire will fit the same holsters. I just dont know the model #s for surefire. I like surefire but they cost more than the streamlights, so i stayed away from them. baton rouge police supplies has some of the best prices on streamlights from what i've found at least on the ones the stock if they dont stock it you can probably find it cheaper else where

I stand corrected. The 26 has no rail.... but it is possible.....
